Payment Authorization & Adjustments

1. Payment Authorization and Tokenization

By submitting your payment details, you authorize Ship4Less to securely store (tokenize) your credit card information. This information is stored by our PCI-compliant payment processor (Authorize.net) to facilitate final billing for services where the total cost is determined after physical processing.

2. Variable Shipping & Handling Charges

For all Pack & Ship and Pack Only requests, you acknowledge that the initial amount authorized at checkout is an estimate based on provided information.

• Final Weight and Dimensions: The final billable weight and dimensions will be determined only after your items have been physically packed and measured.

• Automatic Adjustment: You authorize us to adjust the final transaction amount to reflect the actual shipping costs, materials used, and service fees. 

3. Re-Authorization and Capture

In the event that the final cost exceeds the initial estimated authorization:

• We reserve the right to void the original authorization and initiate a new transaction for the full corrected amount using your stored payment token.
• If the final cost is lower than the initial estimate, we will capture only the actual amount owed against the original authorization.

4. Declined Transactions

If an attempt to capture the final adjusted amount is declined, we will notify you immediately. Please note that packages will not be released for shipping or carrier pickup until the full adjusted balance has been successfully paid.
